Active outputs in FAB Subtitler LIVE

FAB Subtitler LIVE can be configured to transmit subtitles to multiple destinations. Network destinations to which subtitles will be sent can be configured in Options / System / Network.

As many times it may be necessary to transmit subtitles to only a few destinations there is a separate configuration page which allows selecting the destinations to which subtitles will be sent to without having to delete unused destinations.

Configuration of names

By clicking on the button “Set name/delay” it is possible to define a name for the selected output.

The “Optional group name” can generally be left empty. It is used in case that there are multiple outputs used for the same channel, for example when subtitles are sent simultaneously to main/backup transmission unit. In such case both destinations should have the same group name.

Displaying a window when ONAIR is activated

In case thet “Display warning when switching to ONAIR” is activated a window will be displayed when activating ONAIR. Active outputs will be displayed with a checkmark and the user will see exactly to which outputs subtitles will be sent to. It is possible to add/remove checkmarks before clicking OK to choose destinations where subtitles will be sent to.

Note that the window with checkmarks will only be displayed if the group name for every output is defined. When group names are not defined, a simple confirmation window will be displayed without the possibility to de/activate outputs.
