1. Create a backup of your system / FAB Software

Make sure to create a backup of your complete system. The minimum is to create a backup of your existing FAB software version so that after installing a different version you can easily go back to the previously installed version.

2. Install the latest version of FAB Software

You can download the latest software version of FAB software from this website:

You may need to create a new account by using the serial number of your software. If your software is under warranty then you will be able to install the latest version of the software. If your software is not under warranty then you will be able to install the latest software version that was published during your warranty.

3. Try to repeat the problem with the latest version of FAB Software

After installing the latest version of FAB Software please check if your problem still happens with the latest version of FAB software.

4. Create FAB System Report

Create a FAB System Report as described here settings, log files and other information required by FAB to investigate problems related to FAB software.

If FAB software hangs it is important to create the system report while FAB software is in non-responsive state and before terminating FAB software.

5. Contact FAB Support

If the problem happens with the latest version of FAB Software please contact FAB Support by E-Mail or Telephone and provide the system report that you have created after the problem happened. Please also describe to us step by step how we can repeat the problem.
