Install FAB Archive Server Software. Preferably the folder for executable files shall be C:\Program Files(x86) and not C:\NCArchive as in previous versions.

During installation specify the NC Archive folder as C:\NCArchive. You can change the location of this folder to any other drive if required.

Stop the FAB Archive Server Service on the new PC.

Start Archive Configuration on the old PC and check which folders are configured.

Copy all folders from the old PC to the new PC except the “Current” subfolder. The copying process might take a long time due to the large size of the archive.

Start Archive Configuration on the new PC and check that the settings are correct. If not, please enter copy all settings from Archive Configuration of the old PC.

Stop the FAB Archive Server on the old PC.

Copy the content of the “Current” subfolder to the new PC. The copying process will only take a short time because the “Current” subfolder only holds teletext pages for the last few days.

Start FAB Archive Server on the new PC.

Start NC Configuration and under “Defaults” enter the IP address of the new PC with FAB Archive Server.

Check the FAB Network Controller and FAB Archive Server logs to see if any problems are reported.
